Edwin Castellane

Role

The author writes and maintains the pages that describe our casino: the home page, registration, bonus, mobile and payment pages and the service documents. The author does not decide how the casino itself works. Terms, limits and offers belong to the casino, and the author reproduces them.

Methodology

  1. Collection. Each fact is taken from the casino’s own cashier, bonus terms and support answers first. Independent reviews are read next, and only as a check.
  2. Comparison. A value that appears with different figures in different places is not copied. It is either confirmed with the casino or described as a rule without a number.
  3. Dating. Every page records the date on which its offers and limits were checked. Bonus and payment terms change quickly, so they are rechecked at short intervals.
  4. Calculation. Every worked example is recalculated from the stated rule, for instance a 40x requirement on a given bonus amount.
  5. Language. A page is written for the country it addresses, in the currency and the vocabulary used there, and is not translated from another edition.
  6. Review. A second reader checks figures, headings and wording before publication.

What the author verifies

SubjectHow it is checked
Bonus termsPercentage, cap, wagering multiple, stake ceiling and deadlines against the cashier
Payment limitsMinimum amounts and ceilings against the cashier and support
Payout timesAgainst the stated ranges for each method
Helpline numbersAgainst the websites of the services concerned

What the author does not do

  • No deposits, withdrawals or tests are claimed unless they took place, and none are claimed on these pages.
  • No promise is made that a player will win, and no strategy is offered that changes the odds.
  • No offer is presented without its conditions.

How one page is made

  1. An outline names the page, the reader it addresses and the questions the reader brings.
  2. The author collects the relevant terms from the casino and lists them in a fact sheet with the date of each check.
  3. The draft is written from the fact sheet and from nothing else; a sentence without a fact behind it is cut.
  4. Every figure in the draft is traced back to the fact sheet, and every calculation is repeated.
  5. A second reader checks the draft against the casino’s current terms.
  6. The page is published with its check date and enters the schedule for rechecks.

Order of sources

RankSourceUse
1The casino’s cashier, bonus terms and support repliesControlling text for every figure
2Independent reviews and payment provider pagesCross-check only
3National helpline websitesTelephone numbers and names of services

When rank 1 and rank 2 disagree, rank 1 prevails. When rank 1 is silent and the other sources differ from each other, the value is not published as a number and the rule is described in words.

Relation to the casino

The author works for the casino’s information pages and is not independent of it. The author’s duty is to state the casino’s terms exactly and to leave out whatever cannot be confirmed.

Corrections

If a reader finds a figure that no longer matches the casino, an email to [email protected] is enough. The author checks the claim against the casino’s current terms, corrects the page when it is confirmed and updates the date of the check. An error in a figure is corrected before any other work.

Corrections log

Each page carries the date of its latest check. When a correction changes a figure, the date is moved forward and the earlier value is no longer shown. Minor wording changes that leave a figure untouched do not move the date. The author keeps an internal note of each correction with the report that caused it, and repeated reports about the same figure lead to a recheck of the whole page.

Reader questions the author answers

  • Whether a stated limit still applies at the moment of reading.
  • What a term such as 40x wagering means in euro for a given bonus amount.
  • Which document is meant by proof of address or proof of the payment method.
  • Where a figure on a page comes from.

Questions about an individual account, a balance or a payout belong to our support team and are answered by it.

Principles on gambling

Gambling content is written for adults and treats play as paid entertainment. The author does not encourage play as a way to solve a financial problem, does not use urgency to push a deposit and always points to independent help. The responsible gambling page lists free helplines in six countries.
