Playing Within Limits: Our Statement to Members
At Slotlounge we offer gambling as paid entertainment for adults. A stake is the price of the entertainment and not an investment, and nothing in our casino changes the odds of a game in favour of the player. This page sets out what we ask of ourselves and what we recommend to every member.
What we recommend before the first spin
- Decide the sum for the session before logging in, and treat it as already spent.
- Decide the time at which the session ends and keep to it.
- Choose a stake per spin that is a small fraction of the budget, so that the balance outlasts a run of losses.
- Never use money that is needed for rent, bills, food or debt repayment.
- Do not raise either figure during the session, whatever the result.
Signs that play has become a problem
| Sign | What it looks like |
|---|---|
| Chasing | Increasing stakes or depositing again to win back a loss |
| Concealing | Hiding the time or money spent from family or friends |
| Borrowing | Using credit, loans or money meant for other needs |
| Preoccupation | Thinking about the next session during work, study or sleep |
| Irritability | Becoming restless or angry when unable to play |
One of these signs is enough reason to stop and think. Several together are a reason to ask for help.
What we do on our side
- Our casino is for adults only, and we verify identity before the first withdrawal.
- Our support team answers by live chat at all hours and by email at [email protected].
- A member who wants a lower deposit limit, a break or exclusion can ask our support team to explain the options on the account and to apply the one chosen.
- We do not urge a member to continue playing after a loss or after a request to stop.
Taking a break
A break is a decision to stop for a fixed time. Exclusion is a longer decision with the same purpose. Write to our support team from the email address registered on the account and state which one is wanted and for how long. We confirm the request in writing. Because the decision is easier to keep if the temptation is removed, we suggest also deleting saved card details on the phone, removing the home-screen shortcut and unsubscribing from marketing messages.
Controls outside the casino
- Ask the bank to block gambling transactions on the card.
- Install a blocking program on the devices used for play.
- Use the screen-time tools of the phone to set a daily ceiling for the browser.
- Keep the casino password in a place that takes effort to reach.
Fixing a budget: a worked example
A budget gives the stake per spin a limit. The table shows how a fixed session sum translates into spins at three stake levels.
| Session budget | Stake per spin | Spins available |
|---|---|---|
| EUR 40 | EUR 0.20 | 200 |
| EUR 40 | EUR 0.50 | 80 |
| EUR 40 | EUR 1.00 | 40 |
The same sum lasts five times longer at EUR 0.20 than at EUR 1.00. A player who finds the session too short should lower the stake and not add money.
Keeping time
Long sessions erode judgment before they erode the balance. An alarm set for the end of the session and a fixed finishing time written down beforehand are simple measures, and when the alarm sounds, the round in progress is finished and the session ends.
After a loss
A loss is a cost that has been paid. The next stake cannot recover it, because each round is independent of the last. The sensible actions are to close the session, to leave the account untouched for a day, and to speak to someone before the next deposit if the loss changes mood or plans.
Talking to someone about another person’s play
If you are concerned about a relative or friend, speak calmly about specific events and avoid accusations. Free helplines also advise relatives. Do not pay another person’s gambling debts without advice.
Rules for the home and the household
Money for play should not be shared with, borrowed from or concealed from the household. Keep the casino account in your own name and your own email, and tell a trusted person which limits you have chosen. Keep payment cards for the casino separate from the card used for housing and food, so that an overspent budget cannot reach the money for essentials.
How to ask us for a limit or a break
- Write from the email address registered on the account.
- State what you want: a lower deposit limit, a break or exclusion.
- State the period, for example a week, a month or six months.
- Wait for our written confirmation before treating the request as applied.
- Keep the confirmation. If you want an earlier return, write to us again; we may apply a waiting period before reactivation.
Free and independent help
The services in the table are independent of us. They are free and confidential.

Minors and shared devices
Persons under the legal age must not register or play. Adults who share a phone or a computer with a child should use a separate user profile with a lock, and should not save the casino password on a shared device. If we find that a minor has used an account, we close it and handle the funds as the law requires.
If you want to talk to us
Write to [email protected]. A request about a break, a limit or exclusion is handled with priority, and the reply is sent in writing to the email address on the account.
