Documents for a Slotlounge Account in New Zealand: What Each One Proves
Contents
Registration needs no documents, but the first withdrawal does. Each document answers a separate question, and a paper that answers a different question from the one asked is returned however clear the photograph. We set the three proofs side by side so that a member can gather the right ones at once.
The Slotlounge New Zealand casino overview shows where the documents section fits alongside the lobby and cashier on a phone.
| Proof | The question it answers | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Identity | Are you the person on the account, and an adult? | Passport, New Zealand driver licence |
| Address | Do you live where the form says? | Utility bill or bank statement dated within three months |
| Payment method | Does the card or wallet belong to you? | Card photographed with the middle digits covered, wallet screenshot showing your name |
The name must be the same on all three and on the account, and the address on the proof must match the address entered at registration.
Identity
A photo identity document confirms name, date of birth and face. It must be valid, with all four corners visible and the text legible without zooming. A driver licence carries information on both sides, so both sides are photographed.
Address
A proof of address ties your name to your home. A utility bill or bank statement showing your name and address, dated within the last three months, is suitable. A statement with the address cut off, or one older than three months, comes back. Where bills are in another person’s name, a bank statement in your own name is the better proof.
Payment method
A card is photographed with the middle digits covered, so that only the first six and last four digits show, together with the name and expiry date. A wallet is shown by a screenshot of the account page with the account name and registered email visible. The proof tells us the method is yours, since we pay winnings only to methods in your own name.
The Slotlounge withdrawal methods guide explains which routes can receive winnings and when each payout arrives after approval.

Preparing the photographs
Lay the document flat on a plain surface in daylight. Photograph it from directly above, with no glare and no shadow across the text. Check that all four corners are in the frame. Check that each line can be read. Upload it in the documents section from the camera or the photo library.
When a document is returned
A returned document is not a refusal of the account; something could not be read or matched. We state the reason in writing, and a new photograph can go into the documents section or by email to [email protected].
If the replacement file will not upload from your phone, the Slotlounge mobile troubleshooting guide covers file size, browser and connection problems that can interrupt an upload.
| Mismatch | Example | Remedy |
|---|---|---|
| Name | The account has a short name, the passport the full one | Correct the account name through support |
| Address | The bill shows a previous address | Send a newer document |
| Age of document | A bill dated four months ago | Send one within three months |
| Owner | The card belongs to a partner | Use a method in your own name |
The form itself
- Enter your name as it stands on your identity document.
- Enter the address with street, suburb, city and postcode.
- Choose New Zealand dollars as the account currency, because every limit and bonus amount is counted in it.
- Use an email address only you read and a password used nowhere else.
When to upload
Upload the three proofs after registration and before the first win. A payout request that finds the documents already approved is processed at once.
First deposit and the offer
The first deposit earns a 100% match and 200 free spins when the welcome offer is selected, with 40x wagering on the bonus amount. Leaving it unselected is a legitimate choice.
The Slotlounge welcome bonus wagering guide explains how pokies and dealer tables contribute differently to the requirement.
Changes after registration
A change of name or address goes through our support team and is documented with an official paper; a change of email address is requested from the registered address. We confirm each change in writing, and the verification is repeated against the new details where needed.
What a reviewer does with each document
A reviewer reads the identity document for name and date of birth, the address proof for name and address, and the payment proof for name and the digits that remain visible. Each reading is compared with the account, and the three are compared with each other. A paper that passes its own reading but disagrees with another is returned with the disagreement named.
A short list before you start
- Passport or driver licence, valid and flat on the table.
- A utility bill or bank statement from the last three months, in your name.
- The card or wallet you will pay with, in your name.
- An email address that only you read.
Questions that arrive most often
The commonest question is whether a bill in a partner’s name will do; it will not, and a bank statement in your own name is the quicker route. The next is whether a photograph of a screen is acceptable; a clear photograph of the paper or a downloaded statement that shows name, address and date is, and a cropped screenshot is not.
